A tour to discover Naples and the main sites of Caserta: the Royal Bourbon sites, historical and archaeological sites of ancient Rome and the classical world. The Royal Palace stands in the vast plains of the Caserta area and it's one of the most sumptuous palaces over to be constructed for a King. The beautiful park, with its prestigious examples of Italian and English gardens, and the imposing of fountains perfects the work. The "Royal Site" finds its completion in the nearby village of San Leucio with its elegant Casino Royal Belvedere, where still artisans and masters weave silk. Noteworthy are also the historical and archaeological excavations of the ancient Capua: the grand Anfiteatro Campano, second only in size to the Colosseum, the Museo dei Gladiatori, unique in its genre, the Museo Archeologico dell'Antica Capua and the Mitreo, extraordinary document of the diffusion in the west of the cult of the Persian god Mithras.
